Welcome to the homepage of ICT, where computer technology is taught from Cycle 1 till Grade 6. The instructor for computers is Christina Pallotta.

 

In the Innovations Lab we have 20 computers. That means there is one computer for each student. All the computers have different kinds of educational games for all students, based on their level and grades.

 

There is also an internet facility available for the students in the lab. The students regularly go on the net to get some information on projects and also for playing educational games. The internet allows the children to go online, and enlarge their learning environment tremendously.

 

In FBE every class has a computer center. Per school a multimedia center should be available with audio-visual materials, such as TV and audio equipment. All of this is in place on Saba.

 

Students can work either individually or in small groups. ICT is used in all education areas as well as for remedial activities.

 

The IB facilitates an ICT-Assistant to all groups, as well as a Systems Manager to maintain the networks.

 

The various games have been installed in the systems for helping the students' overall development educationally, as well as for making them enjoy learning through play. Higher grades also have days when they are given some write-ups by their teacher. They learn the use of Microsoft Office which will help them to use the computer in daily life.
